BLACK LIVES MATTER

KUKU

Length: 00:50

Uploaded: 4 months ago | France

An original 'Black Lives Matter' song primarily influenced by the bigotry of a certain Mrs. Kathy Bennett of Branson, Missouri USA.

During a peaceful Black Lives Matter rally in June 2020 in the aforementioned city, Bennett was among a group of about 50 people who came out in support of the symbolically racist Confederate flag. Bennett draped in a Confederate flag herself lashed out at one of the demonstrators, “I will teach my grandkids to hate you all.” This song was written a few minutes after reading the New York Post article covering the event.

For those who may argue that the song could have been longer, KUKU answers 'I had made my point in less than a minute. I saw no more reason wasting a good melody trying to reason with folks who are emotionally committed to hatefulness and ignorance."
