"Visions", the current single from the Gothic/Neofolk/Cinematic project "The Mayflower Aspect" takes you into the world of ancient Greek legends. Inspired by the seer Cassandra, who predicted the outcome of the Trojan War but nobody wanted to believe her, "The Mayflower Aspect" addresses the fate of this tragic figure and thus a fundamental problem of humanity, which unfortunately always puts greed and arrogance before reason. At the same time, "Visions" is not only a look into the past, but also into the present and future. A hint? A prophecy? Musically, the trio's characteristic sound is this time expanded by driving electric guitars, which give the musical expression and message the necessary urgency.

Angelehnt an die Seherin Kassandra, die den Ausgang des trojanischen Krieges vorhersah, der jedoch niemand glauben wollte, thematisieren „The Mayflower Aspect“ das Schicksal dieser tragischen Figur und damit ein grundsätzliches Problem der Menschheit, die leider immer wieder Gier und Arroganz vor Vernunft stellt. Gleichzeitig ist „Visions“ nicht nur ein Blick in die Vergangenheit, sondern auch in die Gegenwart und Zukunft. Ein Hinweis? Eine Prophezeiung?
